Clintonville Academy
Columbus, OH

Clintonville Academy believes that a school should concern itself with the educational growth and development of the whole child – intellect, character, citizenship, cultural appreciation, creativity, social interaction, personal ethics, and emotional and physical wellbeing. Small class size is extremely significant in the elementary and middle school years. A school should recognize the desirability of disciplined learning, but also provide for individual freedom and creativity. Children learn best when they are aware that teachers and parents are concerned about and interested in them as individuals. The educational process of children should be governed by logic and reason, but value should be placed upon subjective considerations such as their emotions, imagination, creativity, and desires.

Keeping that sense of family and community alive is just one of the many traditions that we continue to foster both in the parish and the school. Our school provides its students with strong educational programs that are designed to offer them the experience, the knowledge, and the skills they will need to be contributing members of society.
